Chalk Paint® Matt Lacquer

Chalk Paint® Lacquer is a hard-wearing, water-based polyacrylic varnish with built-in UV protection.

Use it over Chalk Paint® for a robust finish that will withstand general wear and tear – perfect for dining room tables, outdoor furniture, floors, Kitchen cabinets, bathroom furniture and skirting boards.

It goes on perfectly clear and dries quickly without yellowing over time.

Available in two finishes: Matt and Gloss. Comes in original tins of 750ml and decanted jars of 200ml ( this will be a different PET jar ). 

Matt Lacquer provides a matt finish and will slightly darken the colour of the Chalk Paint®, as with Chalk Paint® Wax.

One 750ml tin will cover 19 square metres (204ft ²).Rate of sealing your Chalk Painted surface with lacquer would be aprox Rs.13 per sqft

Important:

One needs to mix 5-10% paint ( same colour as the painted furniture) in matt and gloss lacquer ( make it a tinted lacquer ) while coating over dark chalk paint shades.

2-3 coats of tinted lacquer required to seal, with a minimum 1 hours gap between coats.
Do not clean the surface with water for 2-3 weeks after the sealant is applied ( only dry cloth to be used for cleaning purpose during that time frame )
