Black

Beloved in our wardrobes but often overlooked in our interiors, black paint can be used to create gorgeously sophisticated, intimate, urbane spaces. Inherently dramatic but never showy, this colour will draw eyes and make a fabulous choice for a gallery wall or with painted furniture juxtaposed against it. Black skirtings, trim and furniture can be a minor but rewarding design tweak for those wanting to gently introduce black into their homes. Those taking the plunge and painting whole black walls will be rewarded with an end result that’s positively cinematic.
